How to pickup girls in a dungeon is the absolute worst possible name they could have picked for this unique anime. I am angry at myself for overlooking it for so long just because I thought it was gonna be a stupid harem comedy. I am just finishing up the first season and absolutely loving it so far, I even picked up the first LN to read during my commute on train. I know people say the LN is better, and it is cool and fleshes out the world a lot more, but the anime is nothing to be scoffed at.

For anyone who loves the Fragrant Flower, I'd highly recommend watching Boarding School Juliet. It's the same concept except this anime has actual dating in it, and the humor is a lot more traditional to what most anime humor is like.
