Claymore should get a modern-day reboot

Claymore is such a good source material for an anime. It’s literally Attack on Titan but with only women as the Scouts then replace their ODM gear with giant swords and unique powers for each character.

Instead of silly looking titans that just flop around silly, you get demons and very ugly villagers(man the normal people in this world are ugly as hell), and instead of the unique titans like the beast and colossal titan, you get cooler looking demons with cooler names and powers compared to “monkey throw rocks”, “rock boy body slams gates”, “metal jaw go bitey”, “giant skinwalker go boom”, and “hot girl does self defense”.

It has an art style that’s on par with Berserk with a story that’s just as tragic, but the series is complete and ends on a very high note. It’s too bad we got the old anime that got cut short too soon, I think the old anime only covers up like 1/4 of the story IIRC, so yes, everyone is missing out on this amazing story.

With how good the animations are for many animes in recent times, Claymore definitely deserves that kind of treatment. And there’s no waiting for new chapters anymore, literally just animate the whole thing with no time pressure. Man I hope it happens someday.
