It finally looks like the USA Disney/Hulu will start Airing episodes of Season 2 medalist. They have it starting episode 1 Friday 02/20/2026 at 12:00am.

If I had to guess it's because they wanted the Olympics to be over. But it's not like this was ever going to be "competeing" for viewership. Unless they were afraid of people looking up medal or medalist referring to the medal awards? But that seems silly. Especially since Season 1 was there and searchable already. What a joke.

Im annoyed that this was never communicated. Especially since other countries could watch it on Hulu/Disney when it started on 01/24/2026. I dont know any other time Hulu/Disney delayed the airing of an anime

In my 25+ years of watching anime i never saw an anime darker than Texhnolyze,its 26 episodes of pure nihilism,nothing good ever happens in this anime and its end is also pretty dark.

Do you guys know of an anime that is even darker?

For me, I am fucking loving Roll Over and Die. I'm a sucker for cute yuri, anyway, but the combo of a grimdark world with the sweet sapphic romance that's building is such a wonderful combo for me.

Its pretty tropey, but done well, and aside from the completely unncessary narration and low animation budget (that they've done a pretty good job of fudging so its not as noticeable), its a great show.
